BEHIND-MS partners will be present at ECTRIMS 2024 this year!

ECTRIMS 2024

Our BEHIND-MS partner, Dr. Roberta Magliozzi, will be co-chairing the ‘Scientific Session 9: Barriers and lymphatics of the brain’ at ECTRIMS 2024 - the Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis.

The session will include_

• A presentation from Dr. Marvin van Luijn, BEHIND-MS partner from Erasmus MC – MS Center ErasMS, on “Breaking barriers: scrutinizing T cells that act at the forefront in people with MS”.

• A presentation by Dr. Roberta Magliozzi, partner from Università di Verona, on “Combined neuropathology and in-situ gene sequencing characterization of meningeal inflammation in progressive multiple sclerosis: evidence of Epstein-Bar virus-linked B cell intrathecal expansion”.

Additionally, our partner, the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform, will also be present at Booth E11 showcasing its projects and its work with people with MS, with BEHIND-MS brochures to be shared and discussed with exhibition attendees! EMSP is also a partner of the Patient Community Day , taking place on the 20th of September. You will need to register and you can join this day for free, online or in person!
